I am not a Blog Whore.

Facebook isn't that bad actually.

What gave you such an awful opinion of it?

Just curious.

Ok, that last comment was from me, not Annie. I guess she didn't sign out of her VoX! oh dear...

I can't speak for GS but I refuse to join Facebook because everyone else is--or at least one is made to feel like that. And right there you have me digging my heels in saying, "No way!" MySpace feels tawdry but I do have an account-- haven't touched it in forever. I'll go one more. I refuse to use Flickr because it is so snobby--and I'm actually a good amateur but no, they'd have you believing you suck--so nuts to that, too.

Sorry for the rant GS--I guess I picked up on your being vexxed about the flowers. That was totally wrong--and in a church?!?

I like Facebook way more than Myspace. I feel like Myspace is more for the teenagers and Facebook is more for the people who are in college or establishing careers (or have already established them). I'm probably going to delete my Myspace (once I get around to it).
My best friend will only use Facebook so I got an account. I HATE Facebook. But I still answer the occasional message. As for being a blog whore. Well, I am one I confess. It's my way of procrastinating on the writing I'm supposed to get paid for (the checks are finally coming in!) and yet still feel like I'm "writing". It's pathetic, but I do it. Does that make me easy or just self involved? Love ya girl!
[this is good]

THANK YOU! I totally agree. It may be that I would like it better that myspace (Really not that much of a challenge) but I can't bring myseft to yet.

Rant away. It is good for the soul.

I don't have Facebook or Myspace and I refuse to give in. Stay strong! ;)

That is so lame that someone took your flower!
I was a heel-digger with Facebook for a long time. Same sort of 'everyone's doing it' thing: it's not the band I hate, it's their fans.

But I caved, with a personal caveat: I will actually connect with people! Not just sign them up as friends and leave it. I've ignored friend request (we never talked in high school - why now????) and have removed people I haven't talked to. I know they're there, now, so can always track them down when the desire strikes, but I don't need to how their bowling league is, or that they're happy today.
Upside: I have been able to keep up a bit with friends I like, but have lost touch with. Even been able to visit with some. It takes a bit of work, though. Oh, and I've a word game junkie and it gives me a Scrabble and Boggle outlet with my sisters and mom. :)
People are selfish... taking away someone's flower is just as lame as stealing the rattler from a baby's carriage
I don't blame you! I hate facebook too! It's sooo cluttered but my sister has been nagging me to get an account. So, I got one but it's hardly active. Occasionally I go there to interact with her but I just as well call her up on the phone, you know? I hate all that poking and stuff they do on there and they even sucker you into buying little virtual gifts for other facebook friends. Sooo stupid!
