Because today just felt like a list making day

Wonderfalls was awesome--I could've choked the Fox exec who axed it. "Keeping Up Appearances" is part of the Saturday night Brit-com block on our local PBS station. My other faves are "Waiting for God" and "As Time Goes By."

"Pushing Daisies" has four episodes available on-demand at abc.com. I miss that show. "Chuck" too.

CHUCK!
I knew I was forgetting something! I was puzzling and going through all the options...and couldn't remember! Thanks Tom.
I think the Office (US one) is on sale at Amazon for $20 apiece.

LOL it was kind of like some of the cheesy movies from the 80's or early 90's! once I watched them again, I didn't like them any more! lol
Spooks is fab. Don't know which series you are on over there but we are going to get a new lead spy in the next series as Rupert Penry Jones is leaving half way through.
I have the box set of Spaced and it is brilliant. In fact I was only talking about it with someone the other day and thinking I must watch them all again.
Red Dwarf is one of the series that is also missing from my DVD collection.
If you like Brit comedy Black Adder has to be up their with the classics.

I have been curious to see Wonderfalls, because I liked Dead Like Me so much, and they were created by the same chap. He also came up with Pushing Daisies, which has just started running here in the UK, but I couldn't bring myself to watch it for some reason. I have a peculiar allergy to Anna Friel which I can't entirely explain. It's probably my loss though...

Wonderfalls is delightful. I watched Pushing Daisies simply because I love it so much. Now I love Pushing Daisies in it's own right. Sad that you are allergic to Anna Friel...I have my allergies too...but the show is great. I particularly love Chi Mcbrides character.
What show (s) do you think I should add to the list? I know Sarah Silverman would be in there somewhere.

I do like Black Adder. I have listened to a lot of the recorded stuff in my car. So many good and funny actors, Hugh Laurie, Rowan Atkinson et al.

Well, Daisies is only on its second episode, so I can probably catch up.

Boxsets I'd love Santa to bring me include Seinfeld, Farscape, My So-Called Life, Northern Exposure, Absolutely, Nightingales, Hippies, Ugly Betty, Kids in the Hall, and Six Feet Under.

Big S is probably an "acquired taste", as they say, but I'd be curious to see Mr. Show and Greg the Bunny sometime to catch her early work.

Make it so, Santa!

FARSCAPE! I am such an Idiot! I love that show. I even priced it at one time and was very sad at it's expense. One of the few times considered burning copies of my blockbuster rentals (yes I did stay strong and not sin...but it was VERY HARD).
I loved Northern Exposure back in the day. It, Seinfeld, and In Living Color were weekly routines when I was in university.

Farscape always seemed very expensive, compared to other shows. I don't know if that was just me being bad at maths or not. These days the boxsets seem pretty reasonable.

Meanwhile, I can't believe I forgot to mention Larry Sanders! Not only Janeane Garofalo, but also Jeremy Piven and Scott Thompson, and even Silverman for a couple of episodes! Too many good people in that show, and such a great premise. It isn't out on DVD yet though, so I couldn't buy it even if I wanted to!

If watching telly was an Olympic sport, you would win the gold!
